Research is something I’ve always been passionate about, especially when I’m invested in what I’m learning about. 

I started this website as a place to share my research and look back at what I’ve learned, and walk alongside others who also have a curiosity that matches my own.

All About Me (And My Brain)

My name is Miya,
I grew up in France and spent my days reading and learning as much as I could. Now, I live in the US with my husband Cain and our two dogs. I graduated with my masters in international communication in 2017. My journey of learning didn’t stop there. I’ve continued taking courses online and more college credits for medical courses in ultrasound training. 

I enjoy reading and watching thrillers. Seeing if I can guess the ending before the characters on the show do is an accomplishment, and a test to my learning through an episode or chapter!

Aside from that, I spend my days with my dogs, teaching them new tricks—despite how old they are. And now, I’m ready to start sharing all the things I’m learning with everyone here.
